19 minutes and $450 million dollars later, the famous Leonardo da Vinci “Salvator Mundi” (Christ: Savior of the World) painting was sold. ‘

27,000 people waited in line in Hong Kong, New York, San Francisco and London to see it before the auction at Christie’s Auction House.

Through online phone bidding from some deep pockets, the competition came to a quick finality.

But who was the winner?

Some say Salvator Mundi is the counter painting to the Mona Lisa.
