Hollywood Dynamo – Losing Count of MISOGIS Achieved

I have always loved Reese Witherspoon, ever since she starred in Legally Blonde. She is a dynamo. Cute, funny, smart, a great actress.

I recently watched the series “Big Little Lies” that Reese executive produced and starred in, alongside Nicole Kidman, Laura Dern and Shailene Woodley. It sent me back to the years of raising my kids through the private school maze, which was Big Little Lies on steroids. I knew someone like each of these characters, and love that the series was set in Monterey. I raised my kids in Northern Cal too.

What makes Reese a Hollywood Dynamo and the ultimate MISOGI achiever of Hollywood, is not simply her successful acting career, but her motivation to “go for it” across the board.

She recently helped create a new TV series, she is starting a clothing line, she is raising 3 kids and is married to a Hollywood Agent. She’s been in and won awards for numerous movies and recently started a production company called Hello Sunshine, which showcases stories about women.

She simply does it all.

In a recent story in the WSJ Saturday Magazine, Reese said:

I’m ambitious, and I’m over hiding that.

Laura Dern, one of her Co-Stars from Big Little Lies, added:

I’m constantly inspired by Reese’s ambition. You have a dream? She makes it happen.”

Dropping out from Stanford never set her back and she has been going full force ever since.

We congratulate Reese on being our Entertainment MISOGI of the year for 2017. She is constantly stretching way outside her comfort zone where the improbable is achieved. And she achieves it. What’s next? We’ll be watching with eagerness.
